Saint Maurice Bilingual Comprehensive College (SAMBICC)

Saint Maurice Bilingual Comprehensive College known widely as SAMBICC represents the senior chapter of the Saint Maurice educational journey. Here, the strong academic foundations built in nursery and primary are developed into the sophisticated skills, critical thinking, and personal maturity that define a truly educated young person.SAMBICC is not a conventional secondary school. It is a bilingual, values-driven institution where academic excellence and human development are pursued with equal seriousness. Our college graduates enter the world as thinkers, communicators, and citizens of character ready for university, professional life, and global opportunity.

ANGLO-SAXON SECTION

Our English Section follows the Anglophone secondary and high school curriculum from Form 1 all the way through to Upper Sixth Form. Pupils progress through a structured, examination-focused pathway leading to two of Cameroon's most prestigious academic qualifications:

GCE Ordinary Level (O/L)

Sat at the end of Form Five, the GCE O/L is the first major academic milestone in the Anglophone pathway. Our pupils are prepared thoroughly across all required subjects, with results that consistently reflect the standard of teaching at SAMBICC.

GCE Advanced Level (A/L)

The crowning qualification of the English Section, sat at the end of Upper Sixth. GCE A/L results are the primary gateway to university admission and professional careers. At SAMBICC, we prepare every Upper Sixth pupil to not just pass — but to excel.

FRENCH SECTION

6ème through Terminale.
Our French Section delivers the full Francophone secondary and high school curriculum, from 6ème through to Terminale. Pupils in this section work toward three nationally recognised qualifications across their academic career:

WHY WE RUN A BILINGUAL SYSTEM

Many schools claim to be bilingual. At SAMBICC, bilingual education means something specific and
substantial — two complete academic sections, each with its own curriculum,
its own qualified teachers, and its own examination pathway.
A pupil in our English Section receives the full depth of an Anglophone secondary
and high school education. A pupil in our French Section
receives the full depth of a
Francophone secondary and high school education. Both sections share the same campus,
the same values, and the same uncompromising commitment to results.
The language of instruction is different. The standard is identical.

The academic programme at SAMBICC is supported by:

Supervised Pedagogy

All teaching is overseen by certified pedagogy inspectors and supported by psycho-pedagogical professionals across both sections.

Computer Laboratory

Practical digital skills for pupils in both the English and French sections, preparing every graduate for a technology-driven world.
